On the morning of June 20th, the Launch Ceremony and Briefing for the German Pavilion at the 23rd China International Industry Fair (CIIF) was Held in Shanghai. Mr. Yin Wenqi, Representative of the CIIF Organizing Committee Office, Mr. Jonathan Schoo, Vice President of AHK Greater China, and Mr. Bi Peiwen, President of DLG Exhibitions & Events Corporation Limited, attended the Launch Ceremony.
With a history of over 20 years, the CIIF is the most influential and long-standing international industrial brand exhibition in China’s equipment manufacturing industry. Since its establishment, CIIF has always adhered to an international perspective and is committed to building an important platform for global industrial enterprises and manufacturing technology to display, communication, and trading.
The 23rd CIIF will create a German Pavilion and focus on the new trend of the era of low-carbon development and digital transformation, deeply promote the integration of resources in the manufacturing industry, and jointly demonstrate a new picture of high-quality development of the global manufacturing industry with the cooperation of high-end enterprises, invisible champions, and industrial clusters in various industries in Germany.
As the organizing institution of the German Pavilion at the 23rd CIIF, Jonathan Schoo introduced that the German pavilion is composed of 19 German industrial brand exhibitors and ten official German institutions, and the 2023 International Industrial Sustainable Development Summit and Sino-German Green Smart Manufacturing Conference would be held at the 23rd CIIF. He stated that the German Pavilion would not only show promotional displays of German industrial brand exhibitors but would also play an important role in promoting the development of the Sino-German real economy in line with the theme of “Digital Economy & Industrial Decarbonization”.
On behalf of Donghao Lansheng Group, the organizer of the CIIF, Bi Peiwen stated that Germany is one of the most important overseas participating countries in previous CIIF, and the high precision and cutting-edge technology brought by German enterprises has attracted much attention. The German Pavilion of this year’s CIIF will become a new starting point for Chinese and German enterprises to carry out a new round of economic and technological cooperation. Together China and Germany will continue to lead the global manufacturing industry towards a smarter and greener direction.
The 23rd CIIF will take place from September 19-23, 2023, at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center. With the theme of “Digital Economy & Industrial Decarbonization” and nine theme shows established, the CIIF will assist in promoting the high-quality development of new industries and build a bridge for global industrial enterprise exchange and cooperation. Over 2600 enterprises from 27 countries and regions around the world will attend this world’s highest-specification and largest industrial event.
