What We Are
SINO MACHINE INDUSTRIES (SMI) is a build-to-print supplier of cast, forged and machined metal components. Nothing is offered from an open catalogue: every part is made to buyer-provided drawings, specifications or an approved sample, and the specified grade is used as specified.
Where a programme calls for continuity of supply — repeat releases, seasonal demand, or production held in another region — buffer stock is produced to the same documentation and released against an agreed schedule. It is the same part, made the same way. The company has supplied international OEMs since the mid-1990s. Work is concentrated in sectors where a component’s service life is governed by heat, abrasion, thermal cycling or sustained load — aluminium smelting and recycling, mineral processing, heavy construction and off-highway equipment.
Much of what we ship is a further release of a part we have already made, from programmes that have been running for years. New ones start the same way: a drawing, a sample, or a description of the duty the part has to survive. Consistent quality and consistent delivery, to the same documentation, whether it is a first article or the tenth release.
How a Programme Runs
The manufacturing steps are covered elsewhere on this site. What follows is how the commercial and technical relationship is structured.

01 · Entry Drawings, or a service dutyAn enquiry arrives either as complete technical documentation, or as a description of how the current part wears out. Both are reviewed by the same engineering team, and both are quoted against the drawing and the applicable standard. |
02 · Assignment Routed to the right entityA programme is assigned to the manufacturing entity best positioned for its material, volume, process and compliance requirements. The customer contracts with one counterparty regardless of how execution is distributed. |

03 · Continuity One interface for the life of the partRepeat orders are manufactured against the original documentation. Where a drawing is revised, or a material or process change is proposed, the change is recorded and confirmed before it enters production. |
04 · Records What is retained, and what is issuedTraceability is maintained internally through part marking and heat-number records, where applicable. An inspection report is issued electronically per shipment; wider documentation is confirmed at order placement. |

Group Structure and Specialised Platforms
As part of a diversified industrial group, SMI supports multiple specialised platforms. Each platform operates independently while sharing the group’s manufacturing capabilities and quality discipline. Each programme is assigned to the manufacturing entity best positioned to execute it, and is contracted through the legal entity appropriate to that programme.

Contracts are concluded by the legal entity appropriate to each programme, in compliance with applicable law in the relevant jurisdictions and with applicable international trade rules.

Confidentiality
All technical documentation is handled under NDA. Drawings are not shared outside the manufacturing entities assigned to a programme, and customer identities are not disclosed in any form — including as references, case studies or logo lists.
